Please people can you stop going on and on about Te Ahu Davis. I'm sorry but blabbing on about a player that scared you at under 17 training is crazy. He has played 4 FirstClass and 3 OneDay matches without any success. He no longers has a contract with Northern Knights(shows what they think of him) And stop crapping on about him being a fast bowler. I hate to burst your bubbles but he is not that quick. Go and ask people that have played with him what they think about him. They will tell you he is extremely lazy and scared of hard work. And is apparently running away to Canada to be with his girlfriend.

The 'KID' was the gillette youth scolar so he obviously has talent. But please dont disrespect the black caps by including his name in selection discussion. At least wait til he has performed domestically and given some reason for you to do so.

Sherlock
Clearly a talent that CAN bowl quick. But at this stage he is injury prone and is not able to stay on the park for more than one match. He is well worth the investment by NZ Cricket but to date has played 7 FirstClass and 1 OneDay match. I again say when it comes to talking about selection PLEASE wait until the guy can finish a match and has actually taken some wickets before saying he should be in the black caps.

Whos winning the tournament?
Looking at the results it seems like NZ has won a fair few.
Is there a points table anywhere or is it just gonna go by who wins the most games?

NZ probably did enough to win the OD section of the series. If they beat Pakistan on Thurs, then that will probably confirm it.

Australia had 2 losses and a tie in the one dayers, actually. And they went 1 and 1 in the 20/20 games.

Overall I'd say it was a moderately successful series for us. We certainly didn't dominate as we might have hoped, but we only lost three games and two of them came right at the start. After the early losses, we had the best of both four dayers, one marginally and one by some distance, won a 20/20 and lost one, and tied a one dayer, so basically it was a fairly even series in terms of results. More importantly, a few key guys like Watson, Jaques, Cosgrove, Haddin and Johnson had good series. Tait, Cullen and Hilfenhaus were pretty disappointing, while Dorey and Birt were up and down.

Well, there's one more game in the Top End Series:

27 Jul 2006 Pakistan A New Zealand A Cazalys Stadium

A chance for both teams to end the tour on a successful note.
