And yeah, the development in DdS's bowling had probably already put Dilruwan's career on shaky ground but if there's a better off spinning allrounder and a much better off spinner then he's pretty much done.

Dilruwan was arguarbly in career best form against SA at home, going overseas as our frontline spinner for the first time wrecked whatever was left after being a bit **** against England
