Mendis a good un, is he? Never seen him. Is he a left arm finger spinner? If he is as good as people are suggesting he is, Murali may finally have someone to groom in the twilight of his illustrious career. Meanwhile, Amerasinghe, the weak link, is leaking runs and letting WI back into the game.
Holy crap, check his bowling averages. He must be alright! Would've loved to see him in the first test instead of Herath.

This Mendis looks like a decent find... he'll either fade quickly or be around a while. Hopefully the latter. He'd be really handy in Twenty20 as well.
