That was a good innings from Janneman, still think he is a limited player but he can improve on that has devastating potential if he continues like that.

Definitely a mentality thing with Breetzke. An example is he debuted well before his age group for SA u19 but it was a slow adaption. Same is happening at franchise level. You need to learn from your mistakes a little bit quicker. If he did so and combined it withhis talent, the sky is the limit.

I have now seen Qeshile in a few innings (none big scoring). He is very still at the crease and waits for the ball to come to him, which is great. But I feel he does not always pick the length well, and does not shift his body weight well to play the ball. I can see how his technique can work in the longer form of the game, but unconvinced in the shorter form. I would like to see a proper long innings from him, because maybe his movement and weight get better as he bats longer.
He just looks so well rounded. A mixture of well-timed shots and meaty blows. All around the wicket. Loves a little nudge to leg for his one option.

It's pretty apparent spin is what he has to work on. If he had Breetzke's quick feet v spin and the way he opens the off-side and uses the crease with the back-foot punch he would be close to finished article.

Quality T20 knock from Marco Marais.

No matter what happens. The Warriors have found a bunch of new young players after the losses of Kolpaks. Just need consistency from them and more to come off together.

Don't worry they will be lost to SA squad soon......

Amla gone for 32. Enough to get a wc spot?
Unfortunately it will be.

So many talented youngsters in SA but it will still ultimately be Reeza vs Amla. I sincerely hope we don't see either of them in the ODI set-up post-WC (Amla can come back later if he finds some form domestically).

Unsurprising given... well, South African cricket.

I wonder if we'll develop better players of spin in the coming years as a result of the improved spin stocks in SA cricket.

Marais was seriously good today. Treated Pretorious with absolute disdain which doesn't bode well for us if he is in our WC 15. Don't know much about Marais defensively but this sort of hitting could get him into our T20 team. It's about time we picked specialists there.
