Yup, as a few on here have pointed out his action is dreadful from a mechanical perspective. His head's still pointing to 2 o'clock at the point of release (though that's better than when he started.
What's weird is that not only is his action mechanically flawed, it's also aesthetically weird and appears to all be in slow motion...yet he bowls 140 clicks. He sort of stiffly meanders up to the crease, awkwardly rolls his arm over without any great apparent effort, and on a good day it comes out only a yard short of express.

I suppose it's easy to see why he is perceived as having talent and being worth persevering with. The sad fact is he just can't really bowl.

De Villiers resisted for longer than De Kock and Miller, but ultimately couldn't overcome the Athlai jinx

At least we get to see how these all-rounders go... there really is only space for 2 in the final SA team.

Yup, game on now, while AB was there, it had an inevitable feeling about. SA still a good shout though with their depth, 8.4 an over isn't beyond them, but NZ's nose in front.

*** me NZ hit the stumps when it matters.... so often miss those, what a nice surprise.

Their batting never runs out though does it? Parnell can bat.
