**Official** South Africa in Australia T20s/ODIs Tour 2025

Averages about half of what he does when he isn’t captain.
And that's happening in all formats. He is such a frustrating player. We know he's got the ability, and when he gets it right he's magnificent, but those moments don't happen as often as they should.

Probably should just not be captain tbh. Doesn’t seem to merge the responsibility with his batting output. It’s especially glaring in T20s because he was our most consistent bat for a long time.

Jeez the commentary is bad. Love a classic "has he got enough" as brevis gets one out of the middle and hits the ball out the ground.
Can someone please get B.Julien off the comms ? ****ing annoying , everytime Brevis hits the ball in the air he's questioning if it's enough even when it's miles over ffs
They're not at the ground. Apparently Fox only budgeted to send commentators to Darwin.

Who captains if he doesn't? Not seeing many naturals in the likely T20 WC side besides markram.

This is standard practice across Fox Footy as well and it's basically them in charge of Fox's cricket coverage. Since the pandemic Fox just don't bother sending commentators outside of Melbourne a lot of the time, which earned them a well earned ribbing by BT on 7 of all people

The funny thing is that Channel 7 were chuntering about the cricket and whether it was the right commercial decision etc. yet they at least put in the effort to have commentators physically present at most matches, even BBL ones.

If not for commercial TV ads being what they are, there really would be absolutely no contest between who had the better cricket coverage of 7 and Fox - even with Hayden and Langer hanging around like a bad smell with the former
