I think its disappointing but these guys have to lead their lives and they are no different to the various other companies who have given up their moral compass to please 47.
trump isn't threatening their netflix deal or their saudi deal though. they could have sent any old wwe guy on a legends deal to the white house, particularly given the other people who rocked up for the event. (I would have argued that it's incredibly strange that they didn't send a well known conservative wrestler like an Undertaker, but I've seen that WWE showed the footage on TV so clearly they wanted to pump up HHH as a statesman or something). WWE are not giving up a moral compass in the way that, I dunno, the facebook guy is, WWE never had one. And obviously the TKO guys don't either, so it's been a perfect fit for WWE.

and when I say that they never had a moral compass. Vince Jr took control of the company and kept using Jimmy Snuka even after he murdered someone

Dude's doing a full on entrance at the white house for his maga arrangement.

The majority of WWE guys still seem mega loyal to Vince and yeah, it doesn’t suprime me at all. They owe everything they have to the guy.

Well, yeah but I meant more to the CM Punk point.

This whole year from Cena's been disingenuous. The heel turn was whiny and boring and didn't even have a vicious Mama Rhodes-type moment. Now he's back to being Super Cena which was always boring anyway. Maybe he's still just playing the marks but meh, whatever.

I think some blame also goes to The Rock for not showing up.

Not Terrible
Karrion Kross vs Zayn was so dumb.

How does Karrion Kross get a PPV booking? All the in-ring skill of Kane or Bray and none of the aura, storyline interest or general charisma.

I've zoned out since Mania, but was he not going viral a bit after Mania? I assume they thought he deserved his moment because of that , hard work etc.

I'm not a massive fan though.

I didn't much follow Bret's time in WCW but was him calling out Goldberg's full name part of their program or just a personal quirk that's become a meme 25 years later? It's hilarious either way.

Burn. It. Down.

Night one was decent, nothing more. But Seth is the actual best in the world and that was that

On Cena. Everyone ruling out that he was being disingenuous and that he will reaffirm heel status tonight? Other possibility in my mind is that Cody turns somehow.

Either way Cena was always turning back face before the year was out but if this is it, I’d have personally had it happen later

Guess HHH still hasnt read the lawsuit

the Cena heel turn ending with a lame face turn on TV because A) he won't be booed and B) Brock was coming back is pretty funny though.
