I thought it'd be Hangman. Ospreay vs Moxley doesn't make as much sense for the inevitable title change. Ospreay will likely be getting the belt within a year though

I always thought Saturday Night Main Event was suppose to be above Raw and Smackdown, but below a PLE/PPV/ABC in quality etc.
My understanding is that it was basically intended as a placeholder show to build towards big events back in the days when they didn't have (or had fewer) weekly TV shows. These days it doesn't really serve any purpose other than nostalgia and a bit of fluff.

Surprised that Hangman beat Ospreay last night tbh.

The result was spoiled to me before I watched it (there was another result spoilt, but that was super obvious) and I thought it was strange that they went that way, but after watching the build up it kind of changed my opinion on it

Loved the Mercedes vs Hayter match. Excellent exhibition of old school chain wrestling that was well put together and made sense. Hanger vs Ospreay was superb in most ways but all the false finishes and finisher spam took it down a notch or two for me. I think it was a superb card and one of their better ones ever but I really do hate Anarchy in the Arena.

A staple gun on someone's tongue? **** off. And that bit where they filled Omega's mouth up with thumb tacks could easily have turned deadly if a couple had gone down his throat

Nice little dynamite
Thekla made her debut, although I think the production crew slightly botched it.
I could do what she did if I was 30 years younger and had no spine or hip bones  .

I wouldnt be surprised come July 12 WWE would wheel out some old timers for the NXT PLE even them not being in any of the current storylines. Any bets on a Taker appearance.

I always look at this video by Penn and Teller, this looks beyond insanity and ridiculously dangerous, but...:

Adam Coles bump/botch yesterday was worse than anything in that match and it was a reasonably normal move - hope he is okay.

That Adam Cole bump was horrifying. I think his arm caught most of it though thankfully, despite how bad it looked.

Also that Toni and Mercedes segment was straight fire. Toni is one of my favourite things ever in wrestling. They're going to fight at All In. If Toni loses, I riot.

R Truth been released is a genuine WTF moment. I will give them the benefit of doubt as he is 54 and should have his money made so its probably him wanting to retire and have some legends deal but if its mere cost cutting that's dire.

So many gun moments over the years.

R-Truth should absolutely be getting a legends deal of some variety. Has been entertaining TV for a very long time, one of the better undercard talents of the modern era.

Genuinely seemed like he could've had a main event role in that brief Awesome Truth era, but I suspect that they felt he was already far too old. Then he continued with the company for about 15 years after that.

Yeah Carlito did a fine job and all but it's exactly the sort of role you expect to get cut. Wouldn't be surprised to see him back in a few years with a different direction for a last hurrah though.
