And the wee lads still have a show also?NXT is now two hours, and there’s a new fox show of Smackdown backstage coming soon

And then you get seasonal things like that women's tournament. And the wee lads still have a show also?![]()
Cruiserweight title was recently renamed as the NXT cruiserweight title. So I suspect it’s not long for this world. And the wee lads still have a show also?![]()
Even before the ending, I was pissed off by how Seth was getting so much offense in. Bray should have destroyed him - use Seth's offense for a bit as a glimmer of doubt, but only for tiny periods in between a massacre. That main event was horrible
There's lighting, a DQ finish in a HiaC match (really wtf is that), Seth trying to straight up murder the Fiend, Fiend then no sells it but only after the match and immediately beats the **** out of Seth, Sety bleeds profusely from the mouth
Just crap
Enjoyed the women's HiaC though
Well that's the issue - there is now an alternative for people sick of stuff like this from WWE and if Twitter (and the crowd's AEW chants) are anything to go by, people are cancelling their WWE Network subscriptions by the bucketload.I doubt their figures will be hit that badly tbh, but at the same time AEW will be licking their lips
It's not too late for the Fiend character to be saved, but the fact that they have to go into rehab mode on it already is pretty dire/funny
Seen some people make a valid point that Seth retaining was so that we can see Brock vs Seth again as a champion vs champion match at Survivor Series. But yeah, Rollins as a face/champ is done, he's been very disappointing and needs a change up badly
Yeah but who the **** wants to see that againSeen some people make a valid point that Seth retaining was so that we can see Brock vs Seth again as a champion vs champion match at Survivor Series.
Same potentially with Becky/Charlotte.
Well yes, it's not going to destroy the WWE overnight (or at all) but with all the Wednesday Night War talk, it's a lolz move by the WWE - essentially a worst case scenario whereby you "bury" the biggest thing you've had in years (decades) and piss off your entire fan base..Seen it all before lad
And one has to remember that much of the E's core target demographic has never heard of AEW or anyone in it
I wouldn't be surprised if their numbers take a bit of a hit thi sweek, but I'd me amazed if they are drastically different from what they've been for months now
Yeah I mean it's a terrible call by the E, they have really **** the bed on the best thing they've had in a very long time, no denying thatWell yes, it's not going to destroy the WWE overnight (or at all) but with all the Wednesday Night War talk, it's a lolz move by the WWE - essentially a worst case scenario whereby you "bury" the biggest thing you've had in years (decades) and piss off your entire fan base..
Thankfully (?) NXT is still NXT and that's the actual competition for AEW.
Oh I agree 100% on a nope for Seth vs Brock; just that it "makes sense" in WWE's stupid booking minds.Yeah but who the **** wants to see that again
A much better idea for a champ vs champ match, if that is what they are obsessed with having, would have been Fiend vs Kofi, but obviously that's dead in the water now
Yeah, poor choice of word. It's just an unnecessary and stupid bump in his momentum.Yeah I mean it's a terrible call by the E, they have really **** the bed on the best thing they've had in a very long time, no denying that
It's definitely not a "burial" by any means though, let's not overstate things
