They really seem determined to turn Ravindra into a like-for-like Santner replacement, even looking back at his first shot at test cricket. ATM He’s a useful fifth bowler but that’s about it. You have to worry about the effect this’ll have on his batting.
I also don't see that high a ceiling with his bowling, honestly. With Bracewell I could almost get trying to turn him into some kind of specialist bowler even if I didn't agree with it cause he had the ability to rag the odd one a mile, but I don't see that same cieling with rachin. Don't even get me started on wasting his batting like this. He's one of the best U25 red ball bats in NZ and has county teams interested in him, but instead of letting him hone his red ball batting in England they decide to play him like this in a JAMODI. It's beyond stupid.

Harris Sohail injured ( Shoulder )he might not available for WC in india or even asia cup in sep

In August, pak will play 3 ODI vs Afghanistan
& than Asia cup so pak will missed Haris Sohail who is very dependable in any format

Iftikhar Ahmed included in next 3 ODI vs NZ
I wonder why harris sohail not in pak team for 1st game?

Test for NZ here. With the attack they’ve selected, need 325 or so. Very often if you’re 170 for 2 off 30 you have to be able to turn that into well beyond 300, and if there’s one area in the batting NZ could really improve it’s here.

Sadly a weakness for NZ has always been capitalising at the back end of an innings after a strong foundation.
Hopefully they nail it today, it's helped that Latham has kept it ticking from the moment he got out there.

Looks like a very solid batting performance. Just saw our bowlers pop up though. Eek, wouldn't mind 500.

Why is Ravindra at #8?

This is very timely from Mitchell. Was already a lock for the first choice XI but this is pretty important given NZ have KW-sized hole to fill going into the WC.
