didn't someone else say that only Butler & Bond are quicker than Gillespie???? He's only mid 20's & could be a contender?????
Well 'Donald Duck' has only posted a few times, but has mentioned that Mark Gillespie does NOT have a drinking problem, should've been on the A tour and is arguably the 3rd fastest in NZ in terms of consistent pace (behind Bond and Sherlock).

There's no doubt Gillespie will have a pivotal role to play for Wellington this season and his FC record is very good....although I wonder if 'Donald' may actually be someone of note! :-O

Sinclair has posted his half century, and Bret Lee has taken 2 wickets.

Is there live coverage available on the internet?

Yes. At the Cricket Australia website. But it's really crap. BaggyGreen did a better bloody job of it.

I know Channel 9 covered India v. Australia 'A' last year because I heard Bill Lawry over the top of the highlights, and we sometimes see a classic catch from a Queensland Bulls OD game, etc.

I doubt NSW v. NZ would be covered by anyone though, which is kind of ironic after the level of "entertainment" we've been getting live from Bangladesh!
Channel Nine covers most of the (if not all) day ING Cup games that are to fall on a Saturday or Sunday providing there isn't a Test or ODI being played on that day.

And yes, they covered the India - Australia 'A' game.

AMEN!
Thats for a post way back a few pages ago, cant be bothered going to find it.

I must admit, I feel sorry for Katich. Not one person in that team deserves to be dropped, but thats what you get when youve got a good group I suppose.

Three for Lee, not a bad performance to start his bid to get back into the test side some time this summer. He didn't get smacked around either.

MacGill got 4 as well.

why did he loose confidence??????? from what I saw his figures were better than anyone else when he played - the only reason I can think of is because he wasn't selected for the 'Tests'...............
probaly because he performed poorly in the single 'test' and 'odi' he played.

It was fairly predictable that NZ were going to suffer a little coming from the dustbowls in Bangladesh.
It is a 4 day match so hopefully NZ can make better use of their 2nd dig.
