Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
tbh, I can't blame Ponting too much for being annoyed. His much-vaunted pace attack got absolutely smashed initially by one bloke who probably never batted higher than 8 or 9 in Shield cricket and another joker with one scoring area which everyone other than Tait, Johnson and Lee knew about before the game.

They tried to bully the Canadians and got spanked. Canada got past 200 and they only took 6 wickets against Kenya the other day. I'd be ****ing pissed too.
He was pissed off because Smith did something that you learn not to do in the under 12s and rightly gave the guy a spray

PONTING IS THE SECOND-COMING

As acknowledged by Ponting, he and Smith called for it at the same time, Ponting didn't hear him. Ponting was in the wrong and has apologised.

There were no camera angles of Smith so in actuality no one HERE can actually say if Smith called or not.

He actually didn't give Smith a spray. He just threw a random aimless tantrum.

If he just told Smith off it'd have probably been less frowned upon.
