Only perhaps Steyn and Johnson at their peak are less fun to face than Broad when he bowls like this.
There was actually a very good analysis on cricinfo once about how the top 30% or so of Broad's spells were as good as any bowler in history. It's the average spells where he tapers off. The McGraths, Marshalls and Steyns are merely very good when they aren't tearing teams to shreds, while Broad becomes mediocre. Not groundbreaking but I thought it was pretty interesting.
