Yes, Rashid's bowling is being more and more overrated as time goes by. Can't help but think Tredwell would've done a good job on this pitch.
Alternatively, you do wonder wtf Rashid was selected if he isn't deemed good enough to play on this track. If anything, he's being systematically under-rated on the basis that apparently he must be worse than what we've seen from Moeen in this match.

Of course, this is only one question that I'd like directed at the god-like genius that is Peter Moores at the post-match conference. Other include why on earth Trott was deemed a good pick to open and why we insist on going into tests with three fifth bowlers and then wonder why we can't bowl sides out.

Looking ahead, one can only hope that Aus apply another 5-0 and we can be done with this idiot for good.

This would be England's most pitiful overseas performance for many a year taking into account the Lancashire League quality of the opposition.

Draw v the Windies away from home isn't disastrous. England have only won one away series since the 10/11 Ashes, they're just not that good.

We lost this game in the last session yesterday. The 50 odd runs their tail put on and that collapse were key.

The old one bad session in a game thing, same for them in last test. Drawn series seems fair considering.

We also lost in the first innings, where we were about 100 under par due to some appallingly shoddy dismissals.
Good job we weren't complacent, apparently.

It's cringe that he thought their "star players" would be missing. Shows he has very limited knowledge of the WI team if he thinks Pollard etc not being available would've somehow hindered them.

Why does nobody in the ECB seem to have a ****ing clue?
It's not everything wrong with the ECB in three lines, but it's a sizeable portion of it.

Because the top brass seem to be suits more than actual cricketers with actual cricketing experience.

Yeah and WI had the players to do allright, as most sensible people knew. It was pretty weird how sections of the English media made the series out to be some easy stroll.

This is glorious. The fact that almost the entire chase after Marlon fell has been pretty boring is a testament to how well these two have played. They've walked it.

It was never going to be a stroll but the way the media were going on we were as good as the team that reached number 1 when we clearly aren't.
