i doubt shoaib will be too much more devastating in england than he was in this series. Naved will be quite a handful especially if he hits the right lines and length consistently. but if by some miracle sami is still playing then, England should consider themselves quite lucky.

you have to look at the kind of wickets you play on. what most people fail to remember is that the major reason Australia have been scoring quicker is because they played half their tests on the flattest wickets in the world where the ball comes onto the bat nicely. In the subcontinent, most of their players toned their game down and batted sensibly, something which england havent done.

So he scored these 1000 runs in 15 innings, which include a pair in the Super Test as well, effectively making it a square 1000 from 13 innings - and the highest score is only 183! Extremely good consistency.

Seems like anything that's gone wrong for Pakistan in this match has turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Inzi's runout actually proved very helpful for Pakistan.

Interesting, when people talk about Pakistan being stronger at home; I have always felt that they play better overcease, specially in the last 15-20 years. (excepting Australia, of course :p)

Exactly. We're going to hear an awful lot about how different it will be in England, but unless we address the glaring weaknesses that have been evident in this series, you wouldn't bet against Pakistan doing the double over us.
