Quite looking forward to England being set 550. They’ll either be 150 all out and set for one final round of golf before flying home, or on a flattish pitch, might just give it a good go.

Morne Morkel’s the obvious comparison with his height and bowling style, been mentioned regularly. Also reminds you a bit of Steve Harmison?

Yeah agreed, was thinking more the type of bowler with the use of bounce as a key weapon and consistently jamming bat handles. The bowling action itself, can’t think of any immediate precedents the way Nathan Smith reminds me of Klusener.

Really didn't yesterday. It was a seven hour sauna.

I love the English supporters, you get two types: the brown sun lizards who sit out in the blazing heat all day, and the really pasty ones who get in the ground early to take all the shade

Should have an option where you can call a test off if in all honesty one side aren't feeling it and would rather be playing golf. You want contests to be fair dinkum. So the team that would rather be playing golf can forfeit the test from the 3rd day onwards, and any spectators with tickets for the remaining days get tickets to a professional Golf Open paid for out of the forfeiting teams player fund. Then everyone can head off to where they'd rather be, such as the golf course, race track, or pub.

It's been raining all morning here(I'm about 300 metres from the ground) and while it may have just eased a few minutes ago I'd have to say
it would be a shock if they started anywhere near on time.
