What's the light situation looking like? Can traffic cams be relied on to give an idea?

Ish should call to the dressing room for some night vision goggles. Get the umps checking their light meter.

How long do you think England have left before the light gets too dark? Can't be more than half an hour.

Not long. I assume that's why Root is bowling.

Edit looks like he was just allowing Wood to change ends.

Gutsy effort from these two (and Lord Colin but for that one shot). Have shown up the top 6.

That this is getting so close does show how NZ would have saved the match comfortably if the top order batsmen had not giving their wickets away so easily.

Amazed Wagner has faced 45 balls already. A bit like Finn last time England toured.

This test looked like a dead draw right from the third morning onwards. Even all the artificial excitement that the Kiwi top order provided is not going to change that.

Dunno if I'd go quite that far - thinking of Anderson bowling Watling on day two, the new ball has usually been threatening. Wickets hard to come by the rest of the time, but I really thought England would do this easily with the second new ball today.

This is exciting. Sodhi WAG. Last two partnerships have been immense for NZ.
