***Official*** County Cricket 2019

International Debutant
There used to be a seamer from india playing for a county in division 2 each year but I can't remember his name or what team it was. Not sure if he renewed his contract this season either!
Ishant played last year for Sussex 4 matches 15 wickets at 23.06.
Ashwin is playing for Notts this year. 6 matches from late June.

From what i've seen this seen Rilee Rossouw's batting this season in the championship has been nigh on a disgrace. Unashamed slogging. Just doesn't seem to want to apply himself and resorts to slogs across the line. Hardly the example you'd want set from an experienced pro presumably on a big wage.

His actual stats aren't that bad (avg 36) although it's put into some context by their being 6 hampshire players with better averages.

Tendulkar jr turning out for MCC young cricketers v surrey 2s today. On the groundstaff there. Live Scores

Sachin lives in London right? Or at least has a house. The ultimate in troll selections would be Arjun Tendulkar turning out for England. Who wouldn't want to see that?

Harmer with a 12 fer in the 1 and 1/2 day game at Chelmsford.

Tendulkar Jr would NEVER play for any country besides India. Changing federations mayn't be a big thing everywhere, but we Indians are ferociously nationalistic.

But thx for posting this, I wasn't even aware that such an event was taking place.

Pattinson with 6, Good to see.

Not sure when he's leaving to link up with Australia A?

EDIT: after this game it is

Big day tomorrow for Kent and Notts. Can't see Kent declaring too early given the respective positions in the league. If Kent could get the win it would really give them a good buffer over Notts. Kent probably already have too many (currently 319 ahead) for Notts the way they've been batting this season

Milnes who left Notts for Kent at the end of last year for more opportunities has 34 wickets @ 22.88. Better than any of the Notts bowlers this season. Broad and Pattinson hardly setting the world on fire averaging 28 and 29, Ball really struggling averaging 48

Crawley plays some damn nice strokes. Looks a very likely future England player.

Lester, Mike and Wainman in the Warwickshire attack today. two loans and a short term contract for Wainman. Doesn't say much for Notts that Warwickshire are 26 points better off with the amount of injuries Warwickshire have had. Bell still yet to appear, Olly stone too although is nearing a return to fitness. Sidebottom and Norwell out for season now iirc.

Notts now with Ashwin in tow are getting smashed once again. Even ****ing Duckett is having a bowl. Hard to believe they've been as bad as they have been so far this season in the championship.

Pattinson and Ashwin as overseas.
Broad available.
Other England internationals. Duckett, Ball, Samit Patel
Recent England Lions internations. Mullaney, Clarke, Chappell, Coughlin, Moores, Carter

Essex looking like the likeliest to challenge Somerset. Somerset's batsman so far this season (until last week) have been bailed out by the bowlers but it can't keep happening. Bartlett and Banton starting to break through, and Hildreth finally with some runs should help but still looks like the weak point.

Yeah Notts are pretty much down already.

Dawson being unavailable really messes things up for Hampshire, unbalances the side and on top of that Crane is having a real struggle this season.

Saw a little bit of Crane bowling to Hildreth, oh dear. Brought his ton up by dispatching an especially horrendous delivery way down leg

I know Stuart McGill rates the kid, but I honestly can't fathom why. Think Stuey may have had a couple too many Hunter Valley reds before saying what he did

Surrey having a go at chasing this down. Could be a good finish
Doesn't look that way at present, with Elgar and Patel crawling along and the RRR creeping upwards. Maybe they'll have a proper dart at it after tea if they still have wickets in hand.

Anyway, the silly ****ers are collapsing now. Not sure how Elgar managed to get run out when they were barely scoring any runs, but the middle order seems keen to be heading back home ASAP.

Looks like it's turning in Taunton again. Ashwin's bowled 30 straight opening, and neither Ball nor Fletcher have been called upon.

After all that, Leach gets one with his first delivery and the second one goes for four byes. As you say, it might just be taking some turn.
253 looking a long way off for Notts.
