It's more that their method of the last few years (which has been very successful) often makes for a terrible spectacle, when scores of 120-140 become defendable.
They do look a bit different without Tye. He's been their go-to forever.

Nathan Reardon has a pretty decent gig. Batting no. 8, not bowling, and a great chance to be carried to a premiership without having to do anything.
If there was an equivalent statistic to VORP in cricket, I would expect the majority of T20 players to have a negative return and 2-3 players per team to have large positive numbers.

Whereas in Test cricket, the vast majority of players will have positive VORP values and less dispersion between them (obviously a player like SSmith would be an outlier).

Once again the "must spin the ball away from the bat" insanity rears its ugly head.

10 overs down and Tom Cooper's bowled 3, Jon Holland yet to have a trundle.

^also commentators just pointed out, that 6 of the Strikers top 7 are Left-handers. If you weren't going to bowl Jon Holland to left-handers when why the **** was he selected?

You know, Lehmann always seems to come in to bat at the point of an innings when only slashing and fiddling around like a madman is the way to go.

Head is a pretty incredible batsman given that he doesn't seem to be watching the ball half the time

EDIT: connects pretty well when he does though

dunno why rashid khan is bothering with wrong'uns, spin bowling is only useful if it turns away from the batsman /s
