*Official* Australia Tour of West Indies 2025

Sliferxxxx

State Vice-Captain
He bowled one of the best new ball spells on a raging turner in Pakistan with no other pacers in sight. He performed well on flat decks in England with their dukes as well. His one match in Australia was when he was injured, he really shouldn't be judged in that. He has taken wickets against Australia, Pakista , England and South Africa so far.

So I get the premise, but it doesn't stand up to scrutiny. The guy is amazing.
This exactly. The man averaged 27 at a sr of 30 something last time he toured England and they were doing their bazball bs. To put in perspective, that's as good as starc did during the last ashes in England. Starc was the best Aussie bowler during the ashes. Seales is good!!

I think Bartlett is much the same speed as the blokes halba calls medium paced so I wonder why he gets a pass and the other don't?
Purely as per cricinfo profile of speed type (which looks right)

Fast: Johnson, Morris, Richardson

Fast-Medium: Abbott, Bartlett, Doggett, Green, Paris, Steketee

Medium-Fast: Hardie, McAndrew, Neser, O'Neil

Medium: Edwards, Webster

With this pitch playing like it is, even if they do get skittled Oz would be confident of defending a target.

I think Chase talking about anything under 200 was gettable, but I think 125 would be a tough ask for this West Indies batting lineup.

Australia cutting loose now; Smith looking especially good.

Green has looked a bit better since the rain break, but still not fully assured.
