Yeah... remember Gambhir playing with one and batting and scoring etc :( Was also called a **** for batting lower down when he had suffered a concussion in that very game... Some of us fans need to grow up and understand its seriousness just as much as the players and physios and coaches need to.


EDIT: Can see others already brought it up.. But I m also referring to the guys who posted in that match thread here at CW..

Lol.. dats a totally different point.. It is fine if u think he is a **** all the time but to say he is one just because he batted lower down having suffered a concussion is just dumb...

Was the GG concussion the time when Dravid sacrificed himself for the team to open and a certain short-arse still refused to do likewise and go in at 3?

Clarke indicating that 2 spinners means 2 all rounders and 2 fast bowlers missing out. Batting is weaker without Rogers so adding Ahmed and another Marsh doesnt fill me with confidence. Smacks of being overly casual about the WI bowling imo.

Why do we need 2 medium pacers (plus 2 quick) if we are playing 2 spinners? :wacko:

How does playing 2 spinners mean we need 6 bowlers while playing 1 spinner means we need 5?

Zero logic.

things that i like to see happening in this series-Mick Clarke to score big. It wasn't that long ago he was the best batsman on the planet and now he is the 3rd best in the team but the UAE aside where he wasn't fit he has not batted poorly. His input to the team total is not as crucial as it was 2 years ago but still id like to him see go big here and show people that he is still one of the best going around
