Ooof. Game on? On this surface a 150 run lead feels like a 50 run one.
Australia are still 100 ahead with a set carey and webster out there and a guy who averages 60 in FC cricket at 8, starc at 9, lyon at 10 and kuhnemann at 11. That's a very long tail and you'de expect it to get us a 200 run lead, which should be more than enough. Sri lanka need starc in and carey out with the lead under 120 to realistically be back in with a shout.

When was the list time an Australian featured in our test team who'd never scored a ton or taken a 5fer in any format including FC, List A and Big Bash

Carey's got the 5th highest score for an Aussie keeper

1. 204* - Gilchrist
2. 169 - Haddin
3. 162 - Gilchrist
4. 161* - Healy
5. 156 - Carey

I reckon Inglis should keep in SL's 2nd innings as he's done nothing but field for one session so far this game, give Carey a rest 😉

I mean given the way SL have batted this series so far, a 150 lead on this pitch is as likely as not to be an innings win.
Haha true.

Though this Sri Lankan batting lineup seems to be full of guys who have pulled off genuine ATG knocks from nowhere.

Lol he'd be quite slim if he was that.

I haven't seen much in the way of reliable cricketer weights, probably because it's not an important part of the sport.
It is a bit of a joke. I agree re the point about weight but was wondering if there's an exception for fast bowlers, particularly stamina and speed. Though Merv Hughes carried weight and it didn't seem to impact his effectiveness. May have curtailed his career though.

I'd like to see an x ray of his knees

Also bring back dissent fines for celebrappeals. Jayasuriya has taken it to an embarrassing extreme in this match.
