A couple of years ago in the BBL he advanced down the deck then just let the ball go and it bowled him. It was hilarious at the time (still is) but I wonder whether he just got a brain freeze because he had so many options about where to hit the bloody thing and his onboard computer just borked.

What was so good about it? Genuine question, because it looks like they won in a canter.

They needed to win in 14.4 overs.. which they ended up doing.
This.

Also, they had to time the finish properly. At 14.3, If they played out a dot they still had one more delivery to hit a six and qualify. On the other hand, if they'd taken a single without playing out a dot ball, they'd have failed to qualify because their final innings run rate would've been lower than the requirement.

It was ridiculous and stupid and hilarious and awesome.

It sounds like a contrived result, which wouldn't be surprising given the amount of illegal gambling money in Indian cricket.

Really? iirc they took a single at 14.3 and got run out going for the second run, the funny thing being if RR let them complete the second run MI would have won the match but not qualified.

Or something.

More than anything it was hilarious just how **** Faulkner bowled under pressure. Two leg stump full tosses in that last over including that last ball, so good from the finisher.

Something like that. Rajasthan would've also qualified if Faulkner had bowled a no ball iirc.

eh since Australia put on literally 260 last match I feel like they are going waaay too slow here

Noble One

International Vice-Captain
This has been a very solid tour from Zampa.

I'm still skeptical that he will ever amount to much at Test level (or first class level), however he makes a clear improvement to our limited overs side after years of Doherty (or Maxwell acting as the sole spinner).
