Whatever it takes!!!
One of the tests should have been held in Chennai, instead of either Nagpur or Dharmasala. Such a pity...Because atmosphere and conditions over there always make for great test cricket!
We got an ODI. There is some rotation rule they follow to allocate matches.

So, with Warner apparently too exhausted to play, can we drop him, have Head open and bat Renshaw (or Handscomb, if you will) at six?

The logical conclusion from his own words is that he's not fit. The cynical (and probably correct) conclusion is that he's making pre-emptive excuses for if/when he sucks.
Any idea what the context was? If it was just a throwaway "yeah it's exchausting and I'm tired" in response to a question about burnout or something then maybe we're just reading too much into it. Seems to only have been reported by Indian media outlets that love exaggerating ****.

It's not much really: https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/...-rather-skip-cricket-australia-awards-1356213

But is is worth pointing out that in the 'busy summer' he's spent a lot of time sitting in the pavilion due to a combination of early dismissals and the opposition not exactly bothering our bowlers.

Probably just a mental thing and wanting to spend time with his family I guess.

Should suck it up a bit and maybe skip some of his t20 commitments instead though, bit hard to sympathise too much. It was a home summer as well not like he spent all his time overseas.
