jesus christ india's bowling has regressed incomprehensibly.
Reckon the fielding was the problem in yesterday's match. 295 was chaseable on that pitch. Bowling wasn't great don't get me wrong, but that was the best of the 4 matches so far from the bowling unit.

Little left of centre one:

What is the record for most runs scored (collectively) in a single ODI series? Last night's non result may have hurt, but given it's a 7 match series and high scoring, this must be close?

Is George Bailey a chance of getting most runs in a series?

The old Benson & Hedges World Series tournaments had so many more games in them so Bailey isn't a proper chance.

However, if your question is most runs in a bilateral one day series Hamilton Masakadza scored 467 runs in a 5 match series against the might of Kenya.

Gayle scored 455 in a 7 match series against India and KP scored 454 in a 7 match series against South Africa (his first series) where he batted 6 times.

So Bailey with 318 runs from 4 matches needs an even 150 to get the record in a two team series.

Highest I can find between two Test playing nations is Gayle's 455 @ 65.00 vs India in 2002/03 (7 match series). KP had 454 @ 151.33 in a 7 match England vs SA series in 2004/05

Hamilton Masakadza made 467 @ 116.72 vs. Kenya in 2009/10 (5 matches)

Everything higher seems to be from tri-series and the World Cup.

Bailey's sitting on 318 at the moment.

Dan and Nufan are Benchy's bitches. No two ways about it. Pathetic kiss arse behaviour to meet Benchy's demands.
