He might not be 100% but at least he seems more daunting (at least on paper) than Ishan Kishan.
This is world cup in India, don't know when it will happen again in india and if Gill will have an opportunity to represent India in WC against Pakistan in front of home crowd!
This type of situation is where you play through the pain and don't have to be 100%. Besides he is not injured that will aggravate his injury even more. Body is recovering, he will have to contain with fatigue.
Easier just typing on the phone here than actually doing, but that is how champions and legends are made.
Ishan is a walking wicket especially with the new ball. Jaiswal would've had a better pick based on current form.
