After some delay, I'm reminded I promised to conduct an ODI 'keepers poll. Here it is.
Unlike the Test poll, where there was some discussion/controversy over the balance of keeping ability and batting talent (most settled for a 50/50 ratio while others weighted keeping skills more highly), ODIs offer a far different point of view. Batting becomes an essential aspect with reasonably competent keeping skills being acceptable. I suggest the ration of batting skills v keeping ability might be as high as 75/25 so an interesting poll is in store.
The Test poll petered out after 15 but I'm hoping we might get a few more (20?) in this poll.
As usual, nominate three players in order and votes on a 3, 2, 1 basis will be allocated.
