good win by Canada - wonder how many teams have lost after both openers scored centuries. got to be unusual.

I know associate bowlers generally lack pace but Cheema cannot surely be a slowmedium as cricinfo claims.

Easy win for Scotland game two

Ireland on course to win the first ODI against Kenya and captain Porterfield for maybe another ton, which would be his 5th.

Pretty startling collapse at the death made it possible but its harly set in stone, what with Varaiya still with 6 overs to bowl

Norway are in trouble. Apparently some officials embezzled £50,000 - about a quarter of the federation's budget - and moved it to Pakistan.
The money has been recovered, meaning that Norway could travel to the Nordic Twenty20 Cup at Brøndby.

This went well enough, as Norway won by 12 runs over Denmark in the group stage and by 4 runs in the final. Norway also beat Sweden by 20 runs and beat Finland this morning.

Want a challenge match against the US now tbh.

Any new Cricket Stadiums coming up from top Associates? I guess its high time Ireland should have one (Atleast 10,000 Cap) dedicated Cricket stadium before pushing for Test Status.

Aren't Zimbabwe full members? If so, it's a little embarrassing for the ICC that Ireland are now ranked above them. It essentially implies that either they're happy to have an inferior team as full member while the better side are just Associates, or that their own rankings are worthless.

Its an indictment to the nature of full membership in the ICC, that its hardly going to make much difference as who deserves/or doesn't deserve thi ststus is, at the end of the day, down to a board room decision

Ireland 2 wins out of 2 so far. The Dutch beat Scotland in their second game by 9 wickets, Alexei Kervezee scoring 137. So it looks like Ireland and probably Netherlands will be the 2 European qualifiers.

Guernsey and Jersey take part because they were the best in the Div 2 tournament IIRC. But of course it speaks volumes for the standard of European cricket that those two small British islands can get this far.
