Third Test Match
Australia vs South Africa

Australia XI -
Nick Scott
Simon Fitzsimmons
Greg Thomas
Daniel Smith (capt)
Robert Cribb (Test Debut)
Jake McDonald
Tarick Weber (wk)
Will Quinn
Nathan Patrick
Ryan Dunn
Kieran Horton

Coach's Call -
Injury hits the squad as Mitchell and Clapham are forced out. Horton finds himself another chance to impress and after some good innings for Victoria, Cribb makes his debut. This is to draw the series lads.

Will get them happening a bit later.

After his amazing effort in the First Test, it was pretty awesome to see Rowley go for a king pair.

Magnificent Australia taste victory

The new Australia have won their first ever Test Match in an epic encounter at the Adelaide Oval. Finally, the bowling unit all clicked, creating chances left right and centre and even the below-par fielding would not deny them. There were centuries to Thomas and Weber, but really, this was a team performance.

Good signs for the Australians. Almost the first game where 4 consistant innings have been strung together with bat and ball.

Good effort to finally record a test match win. :)

I'd also be interested to find out how I'm performing at first class level?

This.

Will not be doing stats on request. As has happened previously, I will designate a 24-hour period in which people who want their stats post their player name.

It will most likely be around Monday.

Gutted to have been injured for the final test, but it was probably best for the team as a lack of wickets had been an issue, and Horton proved invaluable in the 2nd dig. Top effort team (y)
