Cheers Trundler - yeah, I did touch on that in the text. The runs scored when the match was ‘in the balance’ brought Graveney back up, but I think the ‘downhill skier’ label was applied to him because he wasn’t considered as getting it done when they were in the clarts and especially in Ashes Tests.
