I'd have saved Tendulkar's name for Lara-Tendulkar trophy. Call this one Botham-Kapil trophy.

Boring, repetitive, cookie cutter. I like Tangiwai for that reason, & I tolerate Crowe-Thorpe because the trophy itself is made from their bats.

I'm guessing they'll make a trophy this summer for the Windies series. There's only one possible name for that one: the Guillen Trophy.

I was thinking exactly this when I heard the "Anderson-Tendulkar"

"Border-Gavaskar" and "Chappel-Hadlee" don't sound so lame, probably because they came first

"Warne-Muralitharan" was lame too IMO
