Sorry all!

Apparently my Round 10 selection of Mushtaq Ahmed is not possible since Micheal had already taken him earlier.

My bad.

In lieu I go for Arshad Khan, the underrated offie, in test matches.

Please update it Mr.Johns.
lol never heard of the best leggie in the 80s?

Somerset's Mystery ODI Draft XI

Adam Gilchrist LHB WK (9,619 runs @ 35.89, 417 catches, 55 stumpings)
Nathan Astle RHB RM (7,090 runs @ 34.92, 99 wickets @ 38.47)
Ramnaresh Sarwan RHB LS (4,594 runs @ 44.17, 16 wickets @ 36.62)
Rahul Dravid RHB (10,585 runs @ 39.49)
Jacques Kallis RHB RFM (10,057 runs @ 45.30, 246 wickets @ 31.72)
Steve Tikolo RHB RM/OS (3,048 runs @ 31.10, 82 wickets @ 31.81)
Paul Collingwood RHB RM (3,773 runs @ 34.30, 84 wickets @ 38.95)
Shahid Afridi RHB LS (5,531 runs @ 23.23, 243 wickets @ 35.52)
Lance Klusener LHB RFM (3,576 runs @ 41.10, 192 wickets @ 29.95)
Shaun Pollock RHB RFM (3,519 runs @ 26.45, 393 wickets @ 24.50)
Chaminda Vaas LHB LFM (2,025 runs @ 13.68, 400 wickets @ 27.53)

With Pollock and Vaas at numbers ten and eleven, there is clearly no tail to my ODI side. Whilst the above order would initially be used, the powerplays could see the order completely shuffled to accomodate Afridi and Klusener in particular. It might even turn into a case of hit out or get out with such powerful strikers of the ball down the order. Plenty of bowling options too, and on a slow surfaces the bowling duo of Vaas and Pollock could be impossible to score from. Klusener, Kallis and Afridi would be expected to play major roles with the ball, but with Collingwood, Astle and Tikolo there are plenty of options should the opposition take to the bowling attack. Weakness might be a lack of a specialist spinner and genuine quick bowler.

Somerset's Mystery Test Draft XI

Andrew Strauss LHB (4,195 runs @ 42.37)
Carl Hooper RHB OS (5,762 runs @ 36.46, 114 wickets @ 49.42)
John F Reid LHB (1,296 runs @ 46.28)
Jacques Kallis RHB RFM (9,988 runs @ 54.57, 252 wickets @ 31.12)
Mohammad Yousuf RHB (6,770 runs @ 55.49)
Hashan Tillakaratne LHB (4,545 runs @ 42.87)
Adam Gilchrist LHB WK (5,570 runs @ 47.60, 379 catches, 37 stumpings)
Heath Streak RHB RFM (1,990 runs @ 22.35, 216 wickets @ 28.14)
Anil Kumble RHB LS (2,506 runs @ 17.77, 619 wickets @ 29.65)
Dale Steyn RHB RF (355 runs @ 12.67, 154 wickets @ 23.08)
Allan Donald (652 runs @ 10.68, 330 wickets @ 22.25)

Bowling attack led by two of South Africa's greatest fast bowlers, legendary Allan Donald and rising star Dale Steyn. Streak was Zimbabwe's best bowler by far, Kumble the third highest wicket taker in test history and Kallis hardly a weak link. Hooper the sixth bowler on pitches assisting spinners. The middle order is extremely strong, Kallis forming with Yousuf and the resiliant Tillakaratne, while Gilchrist at number seven provides arguably the best ever wicket-keeper batsman in test cricket. The possible weak point surrounds the top order and just how Strauss and Hooper will perform against some of the great attacks assembled by Athlai. John F Reid played just 19 tests but scored six centuries, so would also need to replicate that form to give my Test side a solid start.
Very solid line up, the only weak points Hooper, doesn't really make up the 5th bowlers role nor is he an exceptional batsman, but considering my criteria I think everyone will have similar problems. An exemplary effort mate.

Holy **** what a tail. Monster of an ODI lineup.

I am just waiting for Micheal, or can I post my ODI minnow here? I don't trust my judgement hence needs someone to confirm it.

Yup its a change from my other draft sides in which I have usually had plenty of part-time bowlers, and plenty of spin options - with just the one genuine spinner in Kumble I doubt we'll be preparing pitches to suit spin bowling.

Shoaib Akhtar (Pak) 544 @ 10.07 178 @ 25.69

Gayle and Trescothick are an intimidating opening partnership, as two of the cleanest strikers of the ball in Test cricket they could immediately change the game in the Avenger's favour. If these two stay in for even a single session, the runs will be absolutely piled up. The middle order is buoyed by the talented hands of Michael Hussey, in a familiar role where he either continues domination on the opposition or bats his team out of trouble. The attack can be summed up by a few words, FAST bowling, intimidation, and a cheeky slower ball. The Avengers attack is something to be feared, while the spin side of things is held down by Gayle, Dilshan and Hasan the pace bowling is of a very high quality. Teams will find it very hard to score against the Avengers.
