I liked Bucknor. Just seemed like a chill dude. Umpiring is a damn hard job so mistakes will be made

Billy Bowden, now that guy was lame. Attention seeker

Cricketer Of The Year
Some of England's finest quicks went out with a a whimper due to being picked for a series when they were just that bit past it.
Bob Willis - 3 tests against WI in 1984 for combined figures of 6 for 367
Gus Fraser - 2 tests in Australia in 1998 for combined figures of 4 for 229
Darren Gough - 2 tests against SA in 2003 for combined figures of 1 for 215
Continuing the theme of champion quicks who didn't go out as they deserved, a couple of Aussies:

Graham McKenzie - his last six Tests yielded combined figures of 7/684 and he was discarded at the age of only 29, just two wickets short of Richie Benaud's Australian Test wicket-taking record
Jeff Thomson - recalled for the 1985 Ashes tour after two-and-a-half years out of the side, he played two Tests and took combined figures of 3/275
