Glenn McGrath for my top 10 pick, Allan Donald for my round 10 repick. Hopefully thats all allowed and if so, my team is:

Using Hussey and McCabe as openers as I believe both would have the ability to cope well enough at the top of the order, even if it they played the majority of their tests in the middle order. Four top bowlers and Rhodes to add some variety. Batting down to number nine so plenty of depth and a high quality wicket-keeper batsman. Theres certainly a modern feel to the team with six of the side having played this decade. I'd say my team would've been stronger had I had a better position in round 11 but I guess someone had to select last!

Ah, but you guys haven't done round 12 yet!

Round 12?

As was pointed out earlier, it's a bit of an unfair advantage to have gone early in round 11. The obvious solution is to have a further round in the reverse order to 11, to square things up.

But what are we choosing?

Selecting a 12th man is usually a fairly pointless exercise, and apart from sims, home grounds are pointless as well - besides I like to see sides selected for all conditions rather than specializing.

The reverse nature of this draft meant that several people ended up with team balance issues, and I don't think all the banned players were actually taken in the end.

What I propose is that round 12 be the chance to drop one player from your team in favour of an as yet unselected player. All banned players are available, provided they haven't already been picked.

Making a change in round 12 is completely voluntary, you are free to pass if you prefer.

In terms of choosing a winner, I say we have two categories, winners with the original 11, and the overall winner with the full 12 rounds.

Hmmmm, hadn't thought of that.

I think 'no'. First, those players are gone, they should stay gone. Second, it would be a big disincentive for people to switch over, and I don't want 10 people passing.
