Yes and no. No one rated Akhtar higher than Akram; but most noobs would rather face Akram than risk their lives with Akhtar.

The question is who is greater. Even if Thomson killed batsmen, it would have nothing to do with who is the greater bowler (although I think thommo is still greater). Jeffrey Dahmer killed quite a few people, guess he wasn't greater.
