After the big three of Hadlee, Marshall and Glenn it's a free for all. Imo, Imran would very much be in the next group around 6 or 7 or so. Definitely top ten. Anything less is just plain wrong.

Rated fine, he's behind the top top 5 pacers and and top 2 spinners and rated at the top of the group with Lillee, Donald, the WI duo, Wasim and Lindwall.

No issue with where he's rated.

Yeah, he benefitted massively from the stuff the op mentioned, but everyone knows that already. He still had some good performances away.

ATG bowler.

Oh dear, this will be fun.

just for the record, I do see Imran as a top 15 bowler of all time, but if someone has Lillee or Holding or Donald higher, I wouldn't mind, it's very easy to see why one can come to such a conclusion.
All in the same grouping.

He will figure in the top 8-10.

Wasim was not a better bowler than IK. Wasim does not have a great record against better teams.

IK over Wasim.

To this day I don’t know what kind of bowler Sydney Barnes actually was
He was a pace bowler, he himself said his style resembled Alec Bedser the most, so slow 120-130kmph but with absolutely insane cutters and swing bowling, which he used to combo and then he had the Garneresque bounce via his height. All the confusion is something Barnes made himself.

Once again another mysterious early 20th century superhuman.
