International cricket captain sim league

AndrewB

International Vice-Captain
This is what happens when you pick stroppy sods like Trueman, Barnes and Lillee - they get the first 5 out for 32, reckon they've done their job and refuse to take any more wickets. Should have given Billy Bates another go.

is that the highest score of the whole tournament lol, by a number 8 too rofl
jesus, he must have gone at a fair lick. how many balls did he face?
Yep, pretty sure that's a tournament HS, 181 scored from 252 balls. Previous to that I think it was Sutcliffe, another of Howe's players, who held the record with his 150-odd earlier in the tournament.

Thanks for your patience everyone. A good game to start back off with. Grumpy has turned this team around & is actually well in the hunt for a finals berth.

@jimmi, sorry to jump on to this randomly. But what is the editing SW you are using to edit teams on ICC 2013?

Also are you simming these matches manually or just letting the PC do the job?

It's called "Faizan Cricket Editor 2013".

And this is just AI vs AI - so the PC is just simming everything.

Cool thanks. The only DL link on the net seems to be down. Any chance you could dropbox it or email it to me ? It's a small file I believe?

Yes, this thread is back in action...finally. Have had PC troubles recently, but with everything back online hopefully I'll be able to plough through R9 quickly. Can't wait to see what unfolds with AndrewB, Howe, GIMH, MM & Grumpy all fighting for that 4th spot in the finals. Speaking of which, they'll operate on this basis:

SEMI FINALS

1st vs 4th (1st host)

2nd vs 3rd (2nd host)

FINAL

Winner SF1 vs winner SF2 (to be played in Bangladesh, neutral venue)

So please, if you haven't already post your teams for the all-important final round of the group stage. Best of luck!
