How long until Ashwin has to stop tweeting about/playing Fantasy Cricket?

> Picks Dhawal Kulkarni in his XI
> Dhawal Kulkarni takes two sixes off Ashwin's bowling

The new match fixing? All for the glory of Fantasy points?

I am shocked that two South Africans were at the crease at the time of the biggest choke of the IPL season.

A few observations from an Indian team point of view-
  • Chahal should be a first-choice spin selection in the T20I XI. Whether Dhoni or any of the lobbies like it or not. Seriously good economy rate that can eventually yield wickets.
  • Balaji was keeping it tight, and bowling some uncomfortable rising deliveries. Should also be in the running for T20Is.
  • Varun Aaron has had a great game, and is also Bangalore's leading wicket-taker. He's also chipping top overseas players of the other teams he's faced till now. He needs a good season to be an India regular. Likewise, Umesh Yadav and Ishwar Pandey.
  • While there are plenty of Indian batsmen who can score along the ground, pinch gaps and run hard, there are no big-hitting batsmen who can clear the ropes or hit the stands effortlessly. This will weaken them when the same batsmen from other teams smash their bowlers around. We don't yet see an Indian Miller or Maxwell or KP or Gayle or Corey or Thissara.
  • The top performers in Ranji are marginal here in the IPL. Both IC Pandey and Rishi Dhawan have missed matches, while Kedar Jadhav has not got a game yet.

Hyderabad are fielding a seriously weak T20 bowling unit. Tough luck defending any total with only Steyn, Bucky, Karn and Mishy as your only bowlers.

Dropping Mayank Agarwal wasn't such a good idea. They could have dropped one of Vijay (he too is struggling) and Tiwary (T20 misfit) to accommodate him. Meanwhile, Shami has had a horror start to the IPL. Maybe once he's back in India, he'll enjoy bowling there.

Mishra just goes to pieces when someone successfully takes him on. Textbook example of a confidence bowler.
