I'm not talking about why they lost, I'm talking about how he looked.

If they had won my observation would be the same.
He didn't dropped anything significant that I can think of. Him being tidy or not isn't really a big concern for me.

I think I saw at least 2 or 3 drops, and a couple half chances, and I fell asleep quite a bit in-between. There was also a montage of his struggles in the 3rd test as well. but ok.

I recall seeing 2 but none were really easy. His keeping is the last thing I will change from this series.

I know you've never watched him live, but have you ever watched Healy?

There was a clip someone had posted in a thread somewhere. Not a stumping but just a take off of Warne. Then there were the half chances and sublime stumpings.

I just mention because in a right series, difficult chances could mean the difference between winning and losing. And honestly he didn't look good...

I have watched that clip (alongside others) and have seen Saha keep and I will take 200 extra runs over 2 dropped catches every time.

Definitely they can. But so can batting. Had not given a very poor decision in the 3rd Test, Pant most likely would had won us that.

Keeping in the 3rd test was insanely difficult and is not representative of what you’d ordinarily face imo. He was average overall imo, but that’s good enough to make the side.

Looks like a very solid team.
It is if you're playing on turners every week. But in a lot of places you're going to need a third quick over one of the spinners or you won't take 20 wickets very often. Be tempted to throw in either Shami or Zaheer over one of the spinners if you're not playing at home. Otherwise I think it's a very decent side tbh.

Nah, his keeping had improved massively before his accident. But in this series it wasn't even decent. It was bad enough for me to want Jurel in the team who is a much better keeper and play Pant as a proper bat.
Hopefully he improves though, or Jurel proves himself as a batsman too

It wasn't great, but the series was a nutjob, especially the 3rd Test till when he did decent imo. I don't have a problem with wanting Jurel, but that's highly because he is close to the team as a batsman. Now, if it was Saha, I would not had despite him being a 30 avg bat (and I am a big Saha fan!).

Ok. Shami in for Kumble in SENA.
3 spinners in SC is ok.
