In terms of pure bowling skill, is Bumrah the greatest you have seen?

India lose this test, it will be a lot of pressure for him to play the next two and we don't know if he can. That itself is a liability.
He probably would have if tests were finishing in 3-4 days, like everywhere else around the world.

But since the tests in England are kind of being played on roads and going full five days, it makes things difficult.

Bumrah reminds me of a character named Jun from Captain Tsubasa. Jun was a prodigy, regarded as even more gifted than Tsubasa himself. He had a serious condition that prevented him from playing an entire match. Yet whenever he stepped onto the field, he made an instant impact often scoring or setting up a crucial goal and shifting the momentum in his team’s favour. His time on the pitch was short but his influence was immense. Every moment he played felt like a threat to the opposition.

Still I can't help but be impressed by getting large degrees of swing into the bat with superb control. And when needed curving it away from the same release point. Awesome, awesome stuff.
I never said Bumrah wasn't impressive.

He knows he doesn't have Australia's fielding, so quietly switches to getting batters bowled and LBW, when the situation demands it.
