Slazenger 900 (Mark Waugh???)
Slazenger 800 (Michael Clarke)
Slazengar 1200 (Kallis)
No mate , thats just plain wrong ,
the junior Waugh uses the V800 pro , always has , known for its lightweight design which aids higher bat speeds.

Micheal Clarke on the other hand uses the V900 pro , known for its larger profile , bowed blade , lower sweet spot , designed for slower pitches & its also alot heavier.
Not only is it the official bat of Micheal Clarke , its my bat :D

Ahh... righto.

Yeah - the V900 is a very nice bat... I was almost swaded to it... but the meat behind the Kookaburra Diablo was too good to pass up. Oh yeah... :cool2:

You know how it is...

On a side note, I'm having trouble finding pictures of some Indian bats... i.e. "Britannia" (Dravid's), and Hero Honda etc. If anybody has time to waste, you could scour the net and post a link if you find anything??

We've got most of these bats and more available if you don't want to wait. Click here for the full list.
Mods, it alright to post this link?

Yeah, certainly, so long as it's relevant and helpful :)

That's because the admins at PC know me and know I wouldn't post the link unless it was relevant and helpful... :saint:

They all look really cool and make the game 10 times for realistic. Does anyone know what's the go with editing the faces?? I'm sick of Glenn McGrath looking like friggin Darren Gough (*shudder*...).
Faces were very easy to make in Cricket 2002. I made 100+ for C2002. I can only assume that 2004 is similar if not the same. You need to use a program like Adobe Image Ready.

PS - McGrath only wishes he were half the legend Gough is. :P

Sadly the faces are all packed up in one rather large file and no-one knows how to get at them... :(

I'm sure someone will figure something out eventually but until then McGrath can keep alive his dream of actually being Darren Gough.

got the game today, played a couple of OD games, great so far, though i am really getting hammered bowling (than i get sick of it and just skip the innings and bat) still fun to play though (and will be better when i can bowl too )

if anyone needs help on the bowling side of the game try this. Use a spinner and the most aggresive feild possible. Put the least amount of speed on the ball ie when the gauge is empty and let her rip. I got NSW out for 11 in the pura cup using that method. they just cant hit the ball and when they do your close in fielders will snap up the edge. this method also keeps the run rate down in one dayers.

Has anyone figured out how to unpack the large cricket_pc.gob file yet? I've tried a program or two ("Cage" - and another one) to open it but they didn't want to work with the Cricket 2004 file.

Any ideas anyone??

Before he gets to those heights, he must first work out how to be as good a bowler as Mark Butcher:P

Yeah, we've managed to unpack the .gob and find the graphics files. Sadly we don't yet now how to put our new edited ones back in... Hopefully soon...

Yeah, unpacking it's no longer a problem. We just have to work out a way to either get them back in, or make the .exe use updated files that aren't packed into the .gob file.

dose anyone know when there will be a demo?
EA Sports in a few interviews hoped to have a demo out just before or at the time of the game's release. So with that deadline been and gone, it's anyones guess.

Cricket Web are currently conducting a follow up interview with Andrew from EA Sports, so he might give more information in that :)
