Athlai is a terrible judge of a bowler tbf.
Zaheer clearly ahead imo. Bowled in a more miserable era, carried his team, gives you a point of difference with the left arm.
I still rate Ishant though, current slump aside. He's exactly what you want in a 3rd seamer.

India's attack overseas in that 07-2011 phase was almost entirely reliant on zaheer doing something. Like in the SA tour of 2010-11, we were without zaheer in the first test and conceded 600 at 5 rpo, then he came back the entire attack looked miles better. Same in England, was unplayable for 4 overs and then well, we dont talk about what happened after that.
