1. It is indeed, very cool.
2. As Himman says, there is a game soon to start which is currently awaiting sign ups - best thing to do is to try and play one!
3. If you read the first few pages of the main mafia thread (Mafia - main thread | CricketWeb Forum) there are some short, simple games from when Howe_zat first introduced the game to cricketweb. Those provide a decent introduction to the basic idea of the game I think.
