H.S Draft- combined sum of XI's test high scores not to exceed 1000 (negotiable)

Cricketer Of The Year
Frank Foster 71

Top score of 305* at First Class level, the record highest individual score by a Warwickshire player at the time & the record stood for 80 more seasons. The man to finally beat that record? A certain young buck by the name of Lara.

Woke up to the pleasant surprise that you did NOT pick Viv. Coz frankly I thought you would be the one who would snap up Viv in this round.
Nah, well played. I was trying to decide between Viv and Merchant, and I couldn't find a better value opener than Merchant.

Was hoping Viv's reasonable expensiveness would let him slide to my next pick... no such luck!

though if Red Hill doesn't want either of those two players then I guess it's fine, but looking at his team he might have wanted 1

378 runs remaining

Macartney averaged 59 at number 3 from nearly 30 digs, scoring 6 of his 7 test tons there. Combine that with his economic bowling and I consider him a steal at 170.
Not sure wether or not to switch Constantine and Cameron

Ugh, beginning to regret a past pick. Couple of cheaper options out there who'd probably result in a better team balance

I was torn between Freddie and Shakib, then Shakib went. Wanted an ATG all-rounder, but I reckon I've overpaid there.

Never fear, I have a strategy!
