Jadeja because he is a better player overseas and a far superior fielder.

Ashwin is better in India/SL although the contributions by Jadeja can't be ignored there, however, Ashwin's bowling skills certainly outweighs Jadeja's combined skills in subcontinent.

Overall, winner is Jadeja.

Jadeja's fielding wins games. I think he's a better all-round package because of it.

Also Ashwin can't really bat in the top 6 while Jadeja can, and that is usually better for team balance anyways. Easier to find another bowler who can bat at 8 than to find another Jadeja.

The less Ashwin bowls overseas, the greater the player people will think of him.

Reason is simple, the less he plays overseas, the more everyone will miss him despite not realising the fact that when he played, he didn't made any difference anyways. :laughing:

The gap between Jadeja and Ashwin with the bat is much more than their gap with the ball. And this is without accounting the fielding gap.

There is a reason why Indian team picks Jadeja over Ashwin when it comes to choosing between them.
