Salamuddin, Gilly never said that rain interruption broke his concentration, its an observation of some the posters on this thread (including myself), and its an obvious problem in Gilly's game which he needs to fix.

Yeah but was he dismissed 'not concentrating' or just dismissed on the first ball.

Mind you, I don't even think Gilly was dismissed in that game by 'not concentrating'. He just received a peach of a delivery. My point was, you can't say Gilly's concentration was down, hence why he was bowled.
TBF, I think that ball would have dismissed near enough every left-hander in the business - never mind 1st ball of the innings.

What I was referring to was his dismissal by Saj in the Champions Trophy and Liam in the Second Final - both with thunderstorms around, 1st ball back after interruption, an English bowler who's normally utterly crap, bowling round the wicket, starting one outside the line of off, swinging it back in, gating Gilchrist on the inside-edge, hitting off. And Gilchrist's attempted stroke was identical.
