I've not seen those sentences, but I'm guessing one of those sentences was, "Say bye bye to Gavaskar".

Don't get me wrong. I support your work.
eh I just pointed out how Gooch had tougher conditions, how Greenidge never had to play the Greatest pace attack of all time while Gooch played 24% of his innings against them and how England was tougher to open in than WI.

and Gooch still had a higher overall run per inning and a higher average after playing as many tests as Greenidge.

Viv Richards claimed Clarke was the only bowler he did not feel comfortable batting against.

David Gower stated that Clarke was by far the fastest man he ever faced.

Alan Kourie recalls that Clarke, during the unofficial West Indies 1983 rebel tour, recorded speeds between 98 mph and 101 mph by two South African police officers testing out a new automobile speed radar gun who were present at Johannesburg ground.

Geoff Boycott said Clarke "scared me silly".

In the mid-1980s Garry Sobers wrote that Clarke was "the quickest and most hostile fast bowler now playing in world cricket.
