heck, even one series, given how India-Pak series can go... That was my point.

We would have to look at the make up of the side back then among other things to see if there was room for a a new player to be blooded then. Just because its an Indo-Pak series doesnt mean a new player cannot be blooded though it can be very difficult.

England made the bold move of playing Pieterson ahead of Thorpe recently.

You would have to look at the squad composition back then in detail.

Yes that was indeed. But regarding Tendulkar you would have to look at who he replaced too - squad composition and stuff as I mentioned.
