Tennis ball travels faster than a cricket ball as well, so it passes that test at least, & quite often tennis games will take place during changeable light conditions.

Yeah, the Orange, Green, Pink ball variants have all been tested before they decided to settle on pink.

Broadcasters will start paying less fees for series with D/N Tests in it and once that happens a halt will be called, if not before, and they probably won't return until they make alterations to the ball etc.
