Rooney, Ronaldo playing! Man U looking for a big win here.

Also, Exeter is ranked 95 places below Man U if we look at the standings crossing the divisions to give a fair idea of how big Exeter's draw in the first match was.

Motson concerning Man Utd scoring, referring to Exeter's manager: "He didn't really want that happening in the first ten minutes"

That talentless nilwit must have one of those Carlsberg advert agents.

Exeter did exceptionally well in the second half to prevent Man U from scoring uptill the latter stages when Rooney finally got the second one in. The fought bravely and for their fighting spirit itself, deserve all the kudos they get.

Fair play to Exeter, they fought well and were helped bby an under-par United side.

That said, United were the worthy victors overall.

One would hope so, given the rankings of each team!

Was a good performance and achievement by Exeter, they were certainly well in the game for a long time in the second half. Man Utd will have been going all out to trounce Exeter after what happened at Old Trafford, but they just weren't good enough relative to Exeter to do it.

Proud. Simple as.
Yes Neil. You have every reason to feel proud. The players fought real hard and even came to the D a few times in the second half.

Very well played Exeter.

20 for seeing the Ginger 2 for Inglethorpe.
